What's covered

• Every tool in your kit: 18 months from delivery against manufacturing defects — including the reacher’s jaw mechanism, trigger, and locking fold hinge, the leg lifter’s stitching, and every hook and handle. Most kits in this category offer nothing beyond a 30-day return window; every On The Mend tool is covered for a year and a half.

What counts as a defect

Failure under normal, intended use: a mechanism that stops working, stitching that lets go, a hook that bends or detaches, cracking or breakage without misuse. If it broke doing the job it was designed for, it's covered.

What's not covered

Accidental damage (drops onto hard surfaces, being stepped on, vehicle doors), misuse beyond rated capacities (reacher: 5 lb; leg lifter: 75 lb), normal cosmetic wear, and consumable wear items such as the bath-sponge head (the handle itself is covered).

Replacements are free

Approved warranty claims receive a free replacement of the affected tool, shipped at our expense. You never pay return shipping — in most cases we simply ask for a photo or short video of the issue rather than a return.

How to make a claim

• Attach a photo or short video showing the problem.
• We respond within 1 business day; approved replacements ship within 2 business days.

Warranty applies automatically with your order record — no registration required. Scanning the QR code on your kit's insert card registers your kit and makes any future claim one click faster.
